Due to the name, you know that this is a way to save the file structure of any drive in your system. You can view which files and folders are there, even if you don´t have it physically in front of you. This is especially useful if you want to know the contents of your CDs or DVDs, without needing to look for the disc in question and place it in the tray to see it.

If you have a very large collection of CDs and DVDs, Primitive Disk Indexer will help you a lot. You can see which files are saved on each disc, without even touching it or placing it in the CD tray. The program works with any type of disc: diskette, DVD, CD, USB drives and others.

Primitive Disk Indexer is completely free and only needs a little over three megabytes of space. Also, the program doesn´t need installing. Its interface is very similar to Windows.
